Emsworth Residents Forum

The Emsworth Residents Forum (ERF) was formed from the merger of the Emsworth Residents Association and the Emsworth Forum, with a mission to:

• Represent the whole town
• Be a clear voice for Emsworth in challenging times
• Harness the strengths of the community to get things done.

Emsworth has a rich ecosystem of membership organisations, clubs and voluntary institutions. It has one of the best local newspapers and is the only ward in Havant to prepare and endorse a Neighbourhood Plan.

However, Emsworth’s comparative success and self-reliance mean that it is seen as a low priority for public investment in a borough with pressing regeneration demands and squeezed budgets. To make progress for Emsworth it is necessary to capitalise on the talents of our community and a willingness to organise behind shared objectives.
